4/9/23 – We are continuing to partner with the village of Jaguitas in many ways. There is a house in the village that a missionary couple used to live in. The people of Jaguitas have been praying for more missionaries to come and stay with them. They have kept this house empty in hope that God will bring them more missionaries. We will be partnering with them to help with some needed updates and repairs so this house will be ready to house short term mission groups or a long term missionary family.

12/16/22 – What a blessing to announce that the new water tank for Jaguitas has been bought, delivered and installed! They will be pairing it with their older tank for over twice the amount of water storage they had before! We were also able to celebrate with them, their 22nd anniversary of a building project in their village. In the year 2000 a mission group came in and built concrete homes for them as well as a church! We brought with us clothing and gifts for the children, piñatas and food provisions for the families. Thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible!

11/16/22 – It has been brought to our attention that the small village of Jaguitas, the village in which we built the last house, does not have adequate water storage to sustain them through the dry season. We are praying that God will provide the funds to add a 2nd water storage tank in December, before the rain stops. It will cost approximately $2,000.

9/21/2021 – Last month we were able to update the orphanage’s security system, which was damaged due to an electrical fire. We have been continuing to support the orphanage and 12 families in the community with groceries. We are praying for ways to enable families in the community to be more self-sufficient. The economy in Honduras is struggling right now so the orphanage has been relying on our support more heavily.

6/30/2021 – We are so happy to announce our next project in Honduras!! These photos are the stairs leading up to the house we built for Alba. There are several families living at the top of these stairs, not only Alba. The stairs are dangerous and very difficult to climb. We will be replacing them all the way to the top! There will be a level pad every 15 ft. to prevent serious injuries from falling. The first picture is from the bottom of the stairs looking up, the second from the top looking down and the third, from a distance, to give reference of how steep the grade is. This project is exciting because it will benefit multiple families!! If you are interested in contributing to this project you can find ways to give by clicking Donate on the Menu of this website!

2/22/2021 – Let me introduce you to our next big project! This year we will be building a house for Carlos and his family! This is a homeless family who qualified for a piece of property, given to them by the Honduran government. They have built a kitchen (which you see pictured). This is all they have been able to afford to do. The government is threatening to take the property away from them if they cannot build a house this year. So, that’s where we come in! Carlos is a block layer and will be able to perform a lot of the work himself, but we will be helping with the cost of materials and additional labor! We are so excited to be able to help them in this way! We have most of the needed money already, but are slightly shy of our goal. If anyone has any interest in being a part of this project, check out ways to donate by clicking on our Donate page.
